Cascades Mountain-Echo

What is this Cascades Mountain-Echo?

The Cascades Mountain-Echo is a monthly recreation and tourism publication serving the I-90 Corridor from Snoqualmie Pass to the Columbia River. This stretch of highway includes some of Washington state's most treasured scenic escapes, and the Cascades Mountain-Echo offers visitors and residents alike a snapshot view of some of the points of interest, activities and people who make this area so special. The sheer variety of landscapes that can be experienced in the relatively short distance adds spice to the region's flavor. From the edgy high mountain peaks surrounding Snoqualmie Pass to the slopes and foothills of Easton, Roslyn and Cle Elum, to the rolling hills and fertile agricultural valleys of Ellensburg, on down the long drop to the Columbia River Basin at Vantage, you can see, feel, and even smell the aromas of distinctive ecological zones.
